Gerdau Ameristeel was integrating Lawson and Spear applications with SAP.  Interfaces were developed to move data to and from SAP.  Tasks included Requisition, Purchase Order, Accounts Payable and Invoice Match.

Lawson  provided financial reports.

The SAP design work was nearing completion, but development work, in Brazil, had not been scheduled.
